Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026

Bloomie is built as a private place for families to care, remember, and share.

This Privacy Policy explains how Sweetzone, LLC, doing business as Bloomie ("Bloomie," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Bloomie mobile application, the Bloomie website at mybloomie.app, and related services, features, communications, and support channels collectively, the "Services."

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. Who Bloomie Is For

Bloomie is intended for parents, legal guardians, adult family members, and authorized adult caregivers.

Children should not create or independently operate Bloomie accounts. Information about a child must be added and managed by a parent, legal guardian, or other authorized adult.

If you believe a child has created an account or submitted information directly to Bloomie without appropriate authorization, contact us at privacy@mybloomie.app so we can review and, where appropriate, delete the information.

Payment providers process payment credentials under their own privacy policies.

H. Information collected automatically

When you use the Services, Bloomie and its service providers may automatically collect limited technical and usage information, including:

  • Internet Protocol address
  • Device type and model
  • Operating system and app version

  • Device, installation, or application identifiers
  • Login and authentication events
  • Push-notification token

  • Upload, download, synchronization, and processing status
  • Subscription and entitlement events
  • Crash reports
  • Error logs
  • Performance and diagnostic information
  • Referring pages and website activity
  • Approximate location derived from an IP address, where applicable

Bloomie does not need your precise device location to provide its core family memory and care-log features unless a specific feature clearly requests it.

I. Cookies and similar technologies

The Bloomie website may use cookies, local storage, pixels, or similar technologies that are necessary to:

  • Operate and secure the website
  • Remember preferences
  • Understand website traffic and performance
  • Diagnose errors
  • Measure the effectiveness of Bloomie's own communications or marketing

Bloomie does not use private family photos, videos, or care logs for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. How We Use Information

Bloomie may use information to:

  • Create and manage accounts
  • Authenticate users
  • Create and maintain baby and family profiles
  • Record and display care logs
  • Calculate trends, summaries, and statistics
  • Provide timers, reminders, widgets, and live activities
  • Store, display, organize, and back up memories
  • Share information with family members according to granted permissions
  • Generate thumbnails, previews, recaps, or compilations
  • Process subscriptions and confirm entitlements
  • Provide customer support
  • Respond to feedback and troubleshoot problems
  • Maintain synchronization across devices
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, misuse, abuse, or security incidents
  • Protect Bloomie, its users, and family information
  • Analyze performance and improve the Services
  • Develop and test new features
  • Comply with law and enforce our agreements
  • Communicate about important account, privacy, security, or service changes
  • Send optional product or marketing communications where permitted and according to your preferences

We may also create aggregated or deidentified information that does not reasonably identify you or a child. We may use such information for analytics, product development, operational planning, and improving the Services.

4. AI-Enabled and Automated Features

Bloomie may offer optional features that use automated processing or artificial intelligence, such as:

  • Weekly activity summaries
  • Developmental or care-related recaps
  • Suggested captions or text
  • Memory organization
  • Weekly or special-date video recaps
  • Template selection or media arrangement
  • Other personalized summaries or creative features

Depending on the feature, Bloomie may process selected information such as care-log entries, dates, captions, photos, videos, thumbnails, milestones, or other content associated with the feature.

Some AI-enabled features may be provided using third-party service providers acting on Bloomie's behalf. When we use such providers, we seek to limit the information sent to what is reasonably necessary to provide the requested feature and require providers to handle the information subject to contractual and security obligations.

Bloomie does not authorize third-party AI providers to use private family content to train their general-purpose models unless we clearly disclose that practice and obtain any consent required by law.

Where available, you may choose not to use optional AI-enabled features. Disabling an AI feature does not prevent you from using Bloomie's basic logging or memory-storage features.

Confirm before publishing: This section must match the actual AI provider contracts, retention settings, and production data flows.

5. Family Sharing and Permissions

Bloomie allows account owners and authorized users to invite other people to access a baby or family profile.

An invited person may be able to view, add, edit, comment on, react to, or otherwise interact with information depending on the role and permissions granted to that person.

Account owners and parents are responsible for:

  • Inviting only people they trust
  • Assigning appropriate roles
  • Reviewing access permissions
  • Removing access when it is no longer appropriate
  • Confirming that they have authority to share information about a child

Removing a person from a family profile prevents future access through that account once the change takes effect. However, Bloomie cannot control copies that another person previously downloaded, exported, photographed, screen-recorded, or captured through screenshots.

Content contributed by a removed member may remain in the family profile unless an authorized user deletes it or applicable law requires otherwise.

6. Ownership of Family Content

You retain ownership of the photos, videos, captions, care logs, comments, and other content you submit to Bloomie.

You grant Bloomie a limited license to host, store, reproduce, process, format, display, back up, transmit, and share that content only as reasonably necessary to:

  • Operate the Services
  • Provide features you request
  • Display content to authorized family members
  • Create thumbnails, recaps, summaries, and other selected outputs
  • Maintain security and backups
  • Comply with law

Additional terms regarding user content may be included in the Bloomie Terms of Use.

7. How We Share Information

Bloomie does not sell personal information, children's information, or private family content.

Bloomie does not use private photos, videos, or care logs for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may disclose information in the following circumstances.

A. With people you authorize

We share information with family members, caregivers, guests, or other people you invite, subject to the roles and permissions configured for the applicable profile.

B. With service providers

We may provide information to vendors that help us operate the Services, such as providers of:

  • Cloud infrastructure and media storage
  • Databases and backups
  • Authentication
  • Payments and subscriptions
  • Email and push notifications
  • Analytics
  • Crash reporting and diagnostics
  • Customer support
  • Content delivery
  • Media processing and video generation
  • Artificial intelligence features
  • Fraud prevention and security
  • Website hosting

These providers may process information only to perform services for Bloomie or as otherwise permitted by their agreements with us and applicable law.

C. For legal and safety reasons

We may preserve or disclose information if we reasonably believe it is necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, subpoena, warrant, or governmental request
  • Protect the rights, property, or safety of Bloomie, our users, children, or others
  • Detect, prevent, or investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or illegal conduct
  • Enforce our Terms of Use or other agreements
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims

D. In connection with a business transaction

Information may be transferred as part of an actual or proposed merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction.

Any successor that receives personal information will be required to handle it consistently with applicable law and the privacy commitments that apply at the time of transfer.

E. With your direction or consent

We may share information when you direct us to do so or provide consent.

8. Data Retention

Bloomie retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide the Services
  • Maintain your account and family profiles
  • Preserve content you choose to store
  • Complete deletion and synchronization processes
  • Maintain security
  • Prevent fraud or abuse
  • Resolve disputes
  • Enforce agreements
  • Meet tax, accounting, billing, and legal obligations

When you delete content, it may be removed from active user-facing systems before it is removed from backups, caches, logs, or disaster-recovery systems.

Residual copies may remain in encrypted or access-restricted backups until those backups are overwritten according to Bloomie's regular backup cycle.

We may retain limited records where legally required or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, billing, dispute resolution, or enforcement.

We may retain aggregated or deidentified information where it no longer reasonably identifies you or a child.

Confirm before publishing: Bloomie should establish and document actual backup and deletion timelines. Add specific time periods here if you can reliably honor them.

9. Your Choices and Controls

Depending on your role and the applicable feature, you may be able to:

  • Review and update account information
  • Edit baby-profile information
  • Add, change, or delete care logs
  • Add, change, or delete memories
  • Manage family invitations and roles
  • Remove a family member
  • Leave a family
  • Change notification settings
  • Change marketing communication preferences
  • Cancel a subscription through the applicable app store or payment provider
  • Request access to or a copy of certain information
  • Request correction or deletion
  • Initiate deletion of your Bloomie account

Deleting the Bloomie app from a device does not by itself delete your account or information stored by Bloomie.

Subscription cancellation and account deletion are separate. Deleting your account may not automatically cancel a subscription managed through Apple or another payment provider. Follow the applicable provider's subscription-management process.

10. Account Deletion

You may initiate deletion of your Bloomie account through the account settings in the app or by contacting privacy@mybloomie.app.

Account deletion is intended to delete or deidentify personal information and user-generated content associated with your account, except where retention is required or permitted for legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing, or other legitimate purposes described in this Policy.

Because Bloomie supports shared family profiles:

  • Content uploaded solely by you may be deleted with your account, subject to applicable law and technical processing time.
  • Information or content that is jointly associated with a family profile may require additional handling to protect the rights and expectations of other authorized family members.
  • Comments or activity may be deidentified rather than removed where necessary to preserve the integrity of a shared conversation, unless applicable law requires deletion.
  • Your access to shared profiles will end when your account is deleted.

We may ask you to verify your identity before completing a deletion or privacy request.

11. Security

Bloomie uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, which may include:

  • Access controls
  • Authentication safeguards
  • Encryption in transit
  • Restricted internal access
  • Monitoring and logging
  • Backup and recovery protections
  • Security practices for service providers

No system, storage method, or internet transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that information will never be lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed without authorization.

Protect your account credentials and invite only people you trust. Notify us promptly if you believe your account or family information has been compromised.

12. Children's Privacy

Bloomie is designed for use by adults, not by children.

Parents, guardians, and authorized caregivers may provide information about children to use Bloomie's family-care and memory features. Bloomie does not knowingly request personal information directly from children under 13.

If we learn that a child under 13 has created an account or directly submitted personal information without appropriate parental involvement, we will take reasonable steps to delete the account or information.

A parent or guardian may contact us to request review or deletion of information believed to have been submitted directly by a child.

13. United States State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain U.S. states may have rights regarding personal information, subject to applicable law and exceptions. These rights may include the right to:

  • Know or access categories or specific pieces of personal information
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete personal information
  • Obtain a portable copy of certain information
  • Opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling
  • Appeal a decision concerning a privacy request
  • Receive equal service without unlawful discrimination for exercising privacy rights

Bloomie does not sell personal information and does not use private family content for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To submit a request, contact privacy@mybloomie.app with the subject line "Privacy Request." We may need to verify your identity and authority to make the request.

An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and verification directly from the account holder.

14. International Users and Data Transfers

Bloomie is based in the United States.

If you use the Services from another country, information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States and other countries where Bloomie or its service providers operate.

Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from those in your location. Where required, Bloomie will use safeguards designed to protect personal information in connection with international transfers.

15. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may contain links to or integrations with third-party services, including app stores, authentication providers, payment services, or external websites.

Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies and terms. Bloomie is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties acting independently from Bloomie.

16. Communications

Bloomie may send operational communications concerning:

  • Authentication
  • Invitations
  • Family activity
  • Reminders you enable
  • Uploads or processing
  • Subscription status
  • Security
  • Support
  • Material changes to the Services, Terms, or Privacy Policy

You may not be able to opt out of communications necessary to provide or secure your account.

You may opt out of optional marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link or changing available account preferences.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date. If a change is material, we may also provide notice through the app, website, email, or another appropriate method.

Your continued use of the Services after an updated policy becomes effective is subject to the updated policy, to the extent permitted by law.
